I know nothing about NFA or tax stamps and have no SBRs or suppressors. I started a trust a month ago to self direct my retirement account primarily to purchase real estate. Can that same trust be used to pay for a suppressor or SBR stamp? I realize an attorney would probably buave to file added paperwork but I saw some folks starting a trust at a gunshow this weekend and that got me to thinking about it.

I would be happy to discuss the issues with you. I sent you a p.m. with my phone number. There are some good reasons to separate the retirement and estate planning trust from your gun trust. Although they are both revocable living trust, the estate planning trust or the investment Trust don't have language that deals with Firearms ownership. They also may not working smoothly as a gun trust when it comes to adding small assets and removing small assets. A lot of that depends on the way your trust was written
