Yeah. That's why religion discussions are prohibited by the board rules. It's cordial now but these discussions tend to devolve.

It would be nice if we could wrap up this particular branch of the discussion.

I never understood that. We talk about politics and especially LE stuff and it gets heated. Truff is offensive and a stumbling block to some people. Believe, don't believe, I've never been one to push my belief on others but then I also don't have an issue telling someone they are full of chit either. The poster who led us down this path never replied back, I guess for the better?

OC, proud n loud. "We're here, we've no fear" Let your freak flag fly.

I like that the car dealerships are closed on Sundays so when I go to look the salesmen aren't like a herd of flies circling around you. It saves me from having to hurt their feelings when I am trying to look.

Tried to do that at IPAC Mazda here in San Antonio last weekend, was run off by the security guard who said the management didn't want people on the lot when they were closed. It was the middle of the day.

That is why we went to North Park Mazda to buy...

My wife wanted an Explorer one year she went to a local dealer and the salesman told her that she would have to bring her husband with her. Long Story short she bought from another dealer. I was looking at a truck when the wife pulled up and the salesperson asked me about the Explorer. I said tell him....lol. Here where I am at they don't have security guards. I go Sunday Shopping do my Homework and then buy.

Well, I like to scout the cars on my own then do some homework on the internets. I then get prepurchase finance letter. The bank usually wants to put some outrageous loan amount I am eligible for. I get them to put what I am willing to pay on it. Then when I go in and purchase it I use my favorite word with the car salesman. NO!. Then I head for the door.

I might look at cars on a lot but the past 4 cars bought have always been over the phone. What am I paying for the car, what are you giving me on trade? We agree, have the paperwork ready and I will come in. Less hassle and BS.
