Congrats on the instructor class. What is your other certification? NRA, PSB, TCOLE?

Also interested in your thoughts on the class.

My other cert is NRA certified instructor.

The CHL Instructor's course is pretty easy. The "Proficient Demonstration" consists of shooting 90% or higher on a standard CHL test where CHL applicants need to pass 75% or better. Also, the instructors need to pass the test with both a semi and revolver.

lol. I know. I am an instructor since 2003. ;)

Curious as to your thoughts on the class itself. I took my initial instructor class in 2003, and in 2013 I was back in Florence for renewal.

And just a little correction; students must pass with 70%, meaning a 175.

It was interesting that many instructor applicants (myself included) had to re-learn how to shoot a revolver. Before the preparation for the course, I have not shot a revolver in 15 years. I had to burrow a revolver for two weeks prior to the test.

Just shot the practical with Ben. Now uploading the training form and looking for my passport (since I wasn’t born here).
