    Lonesome Dove,

IF you would consider a Remington Model 7400 semi-auto in .243WCF in GREAT shape & that would make a FINE "pig gun". = It's listed in the forum classifieds.

Can you post a pic and location please.

PSA just sent me an ad for a 300blk pistol with the SB3 brace on it for $400. If I didn't already have 2, I would have bought one. The trigger groups in mine are way better than most stock ARs. I was impressed by the PSA Pistols. Farthest I shot with them was about 85 yards but pretty sure you would be able to get decent hits easy at 100 and work a bit harder at 200. Throw a RDS on there and you'd be good to go.

My bad, it is $499 but still a decent deal. Pig gun and Truck gun??

Well maybe even a better deal at PSA. 16" complete 300blk upper with BCG for $280 and free shipping mated to a complete lower for $159
Hard to go wrong at $440.

    Lonesome Dove,

    Different strokes for different folks.

I guess that I'm Remington-aholic, as I currently own 8 of them in various calibers.

My Remington was my go to gun but in 1981 my brand new BDL deluxe lost it’s bolt knob yep one of those. Remington fixed it and gave me a free hat, sticker, iron on patch. Cool! First trip out and three shots fired the bolt knob hit my foot. Local smith fixed it and gun was traded. Yes I have No love for Remington. Especially anything since they sold out. Just my own opinion.

    Lonesome Dove,

All but one of my Remington rifles/shotguns are 50+ years old. - MT "pet" Model 760 in .300SAV was made in 1952.
(Fyi, my Remington-made US RIFLE, MODEL of 1917 was REBUILT at SAAD in 1928 & my Model 10 "riot gun" was made in 1914, so some are over 100 years old.)

Note: The Model 10 is stamped: "Not English made", so I suspect (but do not know) that it was sent to the UK in the WWII era. - I bought it for 50 bucks one afternoon at Canton First Monday from a farmer & know ZILCH more about it, other than it shoots FINE.

I know all about Remingtons history and I’ve owned several bolt guns Shotguns and even a 1911. Thank you but my interest has always been with Winchester and others.

    Lonesome Dove,

As I said, "Different stokes for different folks" & as my grandfather used to say, "Opinions cause horseraces."
