Google shows several different possibilities for ATFP.

Anti Terrorism Force Protection is one.

But why you you ask about taking a class when you have no idea what it even is?

I know it is an antiterrorism force protection course, I meant what type of training is involved? I was talking to a guy that worked for aegis worldwide awhile back and he was talking about easy ways to get hired at a company like that and apparently if you have completed a atfp course or you have a government security clearance your for the most part what they are looking for.

Now it makes more sense. LOL I would think it would be some tactical shooting, some threat detection and some how to's on stressful situations and things like that but that is all just guess work.

You are not likely to find courses called that unless you are military/police/government. If you can show me the job description or training requirements I might be able to offer some direction. Blackwater (US TRAINING CENTER) offers courses to prep people going overseas, as do several other companies.

One of THE Best is TFTT. see TFTT.com and look at courses such as "Overseas Operator"

Tactical Response offers some training along those lines. IIRC they are labeled HRCC classes and divided into some specialties driving, shooting, medical, etc....
