DEVELOPING -- Atlanta school officials confirm a shooting at Price Middle School in Georgia.

School officials say two people were wounded in the shooting. One of the victims was a 14-year-old, MyFoxAtlanta.com reports.

Police say they have two people in custody in connection with the shooting, according to MyFoxAtlanta.com.

The school was placed on lockdown and authorities say parents are not being allowed to pick up their children at this time. Price Middle School is located in southwest Atlanta.

I know that people say that we're just getting amped up coverage by the media on this stuff, but man the frequency has been increasing lately. It's ridiculous. Glad it wasn't any worse than it was.

The frequency isn't higher, the frequency of a local news story being reported nationally is - especially if it fits an agenda. Violent crime in this country has been dropping for at least 20 years.
