ASUS EEE PC 1000HE

A neighbor has an issue with his ASUS EEE PC 1000HE. He was trying to flash the ROM to the latest but didn't think it was working, so he turned the power off. I'm trying to help him out, but was wondering if anyone has any suggestions to offer. Thanks for your help!

And just like that, I think I've solved the mystery. Seems he had taken the memory and hard drive out in an attempt to "fix" things. Turns out the memory wasn't seated properly. Reseated the memory and it boots. Plus, I've gotten the bios to flash. So he's happy.

I hate computers....guns, I understand... :-|
