Building a 300blk for hunting, I'm looking at either the Nikon P300 or the Leupold VX hog. Has anyone used either?
Im leaning towards the Leupold. But I'm not 100% yet.

I have the Leupold VX-Hog on my .45-70 and love it. Best scope in that price range. It would work great on an AR as well.

I don't have the Nikon P300, but have Nikons or Leupolds on every rifle I own.

I'm def leaning more towards the Leupold, put my hands on both today at Academy.

I have the leupold vx hog. Only complaint is the reticle is a bit thick but at 1 power which is where i like it, problem goes away. Leupold all the way.

I use the non-illuminated VX-Hog as my day optic on my NV rig. It's excellent, and my only real complaint is the Pig Plex wording in the reticle.

I added a zip tie as a homemade throw lever. It really helps.

"Comparing Leupold VX-Hog to Nikon P-300" would have been a home run. It helps the next guy a month from now when he's searching for scope info, and it helps us know what you want.

It doesn't mention which scopes you are comparing. Titles without good information do not come up well using the search function.

Only to 100, im curious to see about the drop points but its developed for a 3006 so it should be pretty close.
