I know felt recoil is subjective, but if you have personal experience with this revolver I'd love to hear your opinions on its handling and what you thought of its recoil, especially if you have comparative experience with a like-sized .44 Mag. I'm a little disappointed that the .41 never gained the kind of popularity the .357 and .44 enjoyed. I know you can bridge most of the performance gap by uploading, and downloading, the latter cartridges, but if that were the objective we could do away with a bunch of other cartridges too. Hell, the venerable '06 can be loaded down or up to cover perhaps the broadest range of all cartridges, potentially making dozens of cartridges "obsolete." But I'm getting off-topic... any S&W Mountain Gun shooters here?
