    Hello Speedy:

I'm sure you miss the military, as do I.

When you were in, you're life was defined by: Purpose, Camaraderie, and Structure.

Not much so in the civilian world.

Last P-3 Orion fellow I met, was a pilot thereof who was grounded by bad weather. Gave me a ride from the Sarajevo Air Field to my new billets in Bosnia many years ago (1996-1997).

Always wondered why a Greek Air Force C-130 could fly in weather that grounded a U.S. Navy airplane.

Not long after the Lieutenant Commander dropped me off, I found out why.

The NATO lounge was open at 16:00 and the beer, whiskey, and Slivovich flowed freely.

    Be well.
