Anyone have a T-1 and can compare factory mount to Geissele co-witness mount concerning height?

I bought a T-1 last week with the Geissele co-witness and was wondering if the original mount is lower. I was wanting to put it on my son’s Savage Rascal and the mount I currently have seems like it might be a little high.

    I do.
    Factory T-1 mount.

Presently on a SIG MPX 9mm pistol with a functional little forearm brace that allows me to more effectively shoot is one handed quite often.

As I recall it co-witnesses perfectly.

Though I do wonder why it matters due to mi iron sights folding down.
I figure if I zero the pistol with the flip-up sights the then flip them down and then mount the T-1 and zero it I'm all set for anything.

The T-1 has terrible battery life of only 5 years or so.
If I find I an electron deficient in the 61st month I'll take it off, flip up the mechanical sights and I'm all set to shoot.

Your milage may vary, but I'm wondering is co-witnessing is of any consequence to me, though the flip-down iron sights sort of make a difference.
