Do these poor bastards even get a discount for you filming their procedures and posted them online?
That one is Dr.PimplePopper-worthy! Well done!
Considering almost none of the infections I treat through the emergency room pay me, even a few dollars, I'd say they did ok. My collection rate for ER infections is less than 10%.
They all sign a consent and most seem excited.
I like my job ..but the minute I stop getting paid...I'm not showing up
If people I deal with are credit risk ,we get payment up front or they dont get the service or product
I cant see getting beat out of your time and money 90% of the time
It's due to the EMTALA law Ronald Reagan signed. It's also why so few doctors agree to take call. These days if you go to an ER & need a specialist you may ride an ambulance hundreds of miles to the nearest specialist that takes call.
Heh. When I was in Basic Training at Ft. Jackson SC my two lower Wisdom Teeth had to be extracted. They sent me to the dentist and The Dentist said they had to come out. He was also training some new Army Dentists. He asked me if they could watch so I had the Dentist, the Nurse and Three new dentists forming a ring around me. He got out a chisel and a big hammer and split them up after he gave me a local anesthetic. He then extracted the pieces. Gave me some gauze and Tylenol and sent me back to the company area. I was put on KP peeling taters. I spent the next week on KP doing the light chores and serving as the DRO in the staff section of the mess hall. That was a long week and Tylenol was my new best friend. Years late I went to find a Dentist. There was a new Dentist in Town. I put Down my Dental History and it was the same Dentist at Ft. Jackson. I almost left...lol.
