    Back on topic.

    Shot my factory fresh 9mm Tavor (not conversion kit) today with my short AAC Tirant-s can on it.

    The sound it makes is sort of like that of a hammer hitting a 2x4. Not recognizable as a firearm , the sound it makes. Subsonic 147gr ammo mandatory.

    I don't think they make the tiny "s" short can any longer. Not a hot seller.
    It's not radiantly quiet on a pistol but on a carbine length 9mm barrel it's sublime.

    I'm becoming more of a traditionalist.

    My choice. A classic Colt AR-15 9mm carbine!
    Triggers, modified Uzi mags, easy to suppress.
    There is nothing more practical, functional and reliable.

    Look at the B&T pistol with a forearm brace if you want new-school.
