38 Years Clean & Sober 5-16-2019!

Today, I earned my 38 year "chip" for living clean & sober! 5-16-1981 was the last day that I used alcohol or chemicals of any kind.

This post isn't about pride. It's about being grateful that a Higher Power and friends in the 12 step programs had the ability to get me straightened out! For the first few years of sobriety, I didn't have the sense to blow my own nose! It was essential to give up my stubborn, willful ways and let the Higher Power take over.

For those struggling out there...…… There is a better way .....… One day at a time!

Its a tough road. Had a couple buddies off and on over the years that spent a fair amount of time in prison for felony DWI. One got clean, the other had a repeat visit.
