I have a 10.5 AR with a superlative arms bleed off block and with the block completely open I'm only just getting the cases to eject about 3:00, what weight buffer should I have? It is ran with a suppressor at times.

It's carbine length gas, and the buffer is whatever PSA sends out with pistol brace kit it isn't labeled.

Just shooting 55gr mostly, some 75.

Since this is 5.56, carbine gas should work with a carbine H (3.0 oz) buffer. What length buffer tube? You’ve thrown a lot of variables out there. I would suggest taking detailed notes describing under what conditions this occurs.

Start with 55gr., unsuppressed, what has setting? Does it eject properly?

If you swap ammo manufacturers, does the condition change?

The buffer may not be the problem. Your block, amazingly enough, may not be centered over the port. There could be a blockage in the system. Is the buffer spring stock or upgraded? Then, figure out what buffer you have.

Gas port size is an important variable. Many manufacturers use over-sized ports to make sure their stuff runs no matter what, over-gassing be darned. My advice is to start with an H2 and go from there.
