    Who: All y’all plus some more
    What: Chili cookoff
    When: Oct 6, 2018 (weekend b4 Reunion); timing TBD
    Where: My place: 1604/I-10 - NW San Antonio/Boerne.
    Why: The U of Texas and Ok University will meet for the 113th time on October 6th, 2018.

    We will be hosting a people’s choice chili cookoff. There are three categories:

    - Texas Red
    - Crimson Cream (White chili)
    - People’s choice - run what ya brung


    You all are invited. I need to know who’s coming so there’s enough beer.

    Admission: one pot of your finest chili and the willingness to get along with whoever shows up.

    Rules:

    1. No politics or other shit that will break a party up.

    2. If your team ain’t playing or ain’t winning, suck it up; this is a friendly get together to eat and judge chili.

    3. We are hosting at my house. My rules go; argue and you lose.

    4. See rules 1-3

    5. There are no prizes except bragging rights. If you lose, we will still like you.

    6. BBQ pistolas: Allowed. Except Glock; unless engraved with something related to TX.

    ETA: Location, BBQ pistolas.

    Oooh - heck yes. I had to explain to the wife what a BBQ gun was. We will be there!!! Being a couple of THE university of Texas grads, I presume OU smack talking is allowed?

    Peoples choice. The goal is to win, at all costs. If you need to cook in my backyard for 3 days, just let me know.

    But you only get one Dutch oven.

    Working on a range day option. I’ve got room for 2 couples indoors and a few tents in the backyards.

    Maybe, just maybe, 1 RV.

    Yes. FYI, my bride rx’d her master’s from OU. In Political Science. Not worth arguing politics with her.
