File criminal charges against the church and remove tax fee status. I would think that would end that shit pretty quick.
I'm sorry. If that is allowed, then what other criminals committing what crimes gets to claim sanctuary in a church? And which church?
If the people of the church feel that strongly about it, why don't they take them into their homes?

For some reason I don't think she has $304,000.
And I am sure you would be correct. The fact that she was denied asylum would seem to indicate a problem in her background, or perhaps her inability to prove her claim. I don't understand the purpose of the fine since she most likely can't pay and is under a deportation order anyway. It might work on someone that has some $, but not on most illegals.

So why are churches off limits from LEO executing legal activities? Are they going to let murderers hang out in a church or is this something special for special criminals?

They should be parking ICE vans at EVERY sanctuary church to pick up stragglers and those who aid criminals in evading LEO. Maybe those churches need to have their finance checked to see if they are truly abiding by the legal requirements of whatever tax free status they have.

While I agree it will not have any effect on a current illegal receiving these notices, why not? Perhaps loading them up with debt could be useful for some other reason at some other time.

And I suppose it's just the principle of it as well. If it's written in the law as mentioned in the article, then I believe all parts of the law should be imposed against criminals.

"File criminal charges against the church and remove tax fee status."

    Why?

    Because it's not a church - it's a fuckin criminal hideout.

p.s. Great idea - file now - remove tfs.
