It says it has a “target trigger”... I guess that means the BX-25

I'm not telling anyone they need to get what I have. I'm satisfied with mine, and that's what matters to me.
    Haters gonna hate. LOL

Honestly, buy enough, it evens out. I probably paid a premium for some I've got, but it was worth it for me. I've gotten some deals for sure, but I'd still pay a lot for guns on my holy grail list.

If you want it buy it. If I was in the market that is a very good price for a target rifle. The thing about building a Ruger 10/22 is the cost of having to buy a whole rifle when you cant just buy a receiver. I was lucky on the last one when Walmart had their brain fart and decided to dump semi auto rifles and I got a whole Ruger 10-22 for $109.00 brand new. I said take my money.

You should buy one of those. Show Easyrider you don’t hafta spend a grand to have a precision 10-22.
They are hit or miss. I have 2 factory 10/22T models. One shoots like a dream right out of the box. The other shoots well, but not as well as one would be led to expect.

Both have had trigger upgrades to a VQ.

Just build one if you really want a tack driver.

Have you played with the torque settings on the receiver take down screw & have you tried bedding either one of those that you have?

Just curious, the take down screw adjustment has really helped some of mine. This big heavy barrel, looks like it could benefit from being bedded.

I have broken them down to their pins and springs and set all screws to the appropriate torque. No bedding.

The biggest game changer for any model 10/22 is to put a trigger in that is not made by Ruger.

I was just curious because if you take your torque wrench to the range, you can play with the take down screw settings, up and down and sometimes make big improvements. I've seen POIs shift and groups tighten by adjusting that screw at the range.

Yeah, I believe I adjusted the torque on mine at around 20# for accuracy.

    Well, I own it.
I have a fairly stock 10-22 with the BX trigger and it shoots amazingly well
That trigger consistantly measures 2lb14oz-3lb range
    Never over 3lb

The trigger in the new Match 10/22 measures consistently 4lb

The triggers in all of my other stock 10/22s start at 6lb and go up from there

So the trigger in this gun, while way better than stock, still isnt as light as the BX that I have, so I'm swapping triggers right from the get go.

Now I'm waiting for my Auto Bolt release and extended mag release to come in and then I'll mount the Vortex Crossfire II I got for it and see what it does

    I think I have a good one.

I got in the parts that I ordered finally and installed the BX trigger, Volquartsen Auto Bolt Release and extended Mag release.
Mounted the Vortex Crossfire 2 scope and went to the range

I never bore sighted the scope but was only off by about 5 inches so it took me just a few clicks to get close enough to shoot for groups

The first set of groups were with the takedown screw torqued at 20 Inch lbs
Then I adjusted to 25 and shot more groups using the same ammo
The Browning made the biggest difference ,but all together the 25 ip was best

I'm very pleased so far. I will clean it good and look for some different match grade ammo to try

All groups were at 30 yards
