1962, Aggie Fish, M1 was our issued rifle in A&M's Corp of Cadets, which was mandatory for first two years.

Ye old M1 Thumb was a badge of honor, often obtained when field stripping and reassembling and cycling to exhibit operational status ... blindfolded.

Our old 150 lb long legged Rotty loved all of God’s Creatures including kats. He did not like dark skinned humans for some reason. Guess he was an Uncle Tom dog cause he was blacker than the ace of spades himself. It’s been a puzzler for years.
