Splintering the democrats was my New Years wish.
The really crazy thing is that Trump is actually a pretty moderate president. He appointed a pretty moderate justice to the Supreme Court, and many of his positions were held by the majority of democrats within the last 10 years.

It's not the moderate democrats that have become a concern within their party. It's the fact that the far left are pulling many moderates further left.
Well I ain’t no exspurt on that little cuties politics but one of the talking heads on AM radio said she was considered a hard hearted Oreo cookie by some of the wackos who inhabit Sunny CA. The speculation was she might not be far enough left to suit em. Now we are conflicted on what to think around here. Thanks

It must be realized the moderate democrats went extinct when Zell Miller died. He was very tight with George Wallace and Lester Maddox. Now the sins of old democrats have got mysteriously moved over to the Republicans. It seems pretty crazy.
Maybe in politicians, but I have to believe that there are still many moderate democrats, or else how do you explain the Walkaway Campaign?

My dad is a life long democrat who voted for Trump and walked away from the Dem party during Os second term after voting for him at least once.
The Democratic Party is leaving thralls of Democrat voters behind as it becomes more and more intersectional. Used to be you would find libertarians leaning to either side of center, now they have been left out as well due to the authoritarian nature of the left.
Hell, even some supporters voted for Trump in the general election.

Well maybe a few left wing churchy folks who don’t hold with infantacide or socialism perhaps? Can’t try to understand what liberal/moderates are thinking about. They are emotional driven and irrational as Maja Rushie been explaining for years.
Most people in the center have no urge to voice their opinions online. They just go about their lives trying to avoid all the yelling and probably only discuss their politics quietly among friends.
So yeah, gonna be hard to get a read on them.

As it currently stands, I don't see any Dem in the field even getting close to unseating Trump (Harris, Beta, Biden, etc.). The Big Dem donors will pull Moochelle in and that will be the end of Trump. She is loved by everyone on the Left, her actions are more slow burn Socialist transformation (although I believe she is as radical as Beta or AOC in her beliefs), and she checks two of the major Dem boxes.
That’s the way I feel too. Except I feel she is more radical than them, just better at hiding it and understands it needs to slowly, subtly be worked in to be most effectively implemented.
I feel like the only people who say she is loved by everyone on the left are the media and people who believe the media.
Don’t think many people actually like her very much.

I'm with you on this. I believe, especially those in the far left, the attention span of many democrats is very short and she isn't in the news enough to gain the momentum.

Hillary won the popular vote in 2016- how much more support should we expect the Left to throw behind their even more critically acclaimed darling, Michelle (or God forbid, Oprah, if that Progressive windbag decides to run)?? The media will most definitely minimize/kill any bad press for either.

Harris has a problem after admitting to inhaling then putting the brothers in prison for Mary Jane offenses. Also had a strange way of getting into politics.
