I have met several people from this forum in person. Of all the people I’ve met, I liked almost all of them better in person than online. There are a few I’ve talked to on the phone or text but haven’t yet met in person and I like them too.

Can’t say I have any issues with anyone here. Met a few of you at a group meeting at Dietz gun range. Great group of guys. I know I’ve pissed off one or two members with a smart ass comment or two. But who hasn’t. I like this forum. Lots of helpful peeps.

Frankly, I see nothing to be gained by "calling out" members. Often times, folks come across differently here than they do in person, so I tend to reserve judgement until we've met in person - and even then, I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Life's just too damned short to get bent outta shape over stuff...unless you badmouth a 1911.

Thanks @baboon for the kind words. Glad i was able to help in a time of need. I would hope if I ever had to reach out to some of you misfits, yall would do what you can to help a brutha out.

Everyone I've met in person have been solid dudes & I'd call all of them friends. There's a few i have PM'd with that I'd like to meet someday. Theres a few that i hangout with when I can.

Pretty sure the guys that click & hangout all have the same views of life & politics.... it's even better when the wives get along. So it's pretty easy to be friends with them. Like minded people will always tend to gather together.

@Moonpie & @SQLGeek were the 1st members I met & took me shooting with them at Pearland.
I've taken @Hoji & @Sam7sf fishing.
@TX OMFS has pulled a tooth for me with last minute warning on my part.
@Sam7sf & his FIL let me store some of my guns & ammo while in house transition.
@FireInTheWire & I have hunted @Sam7sf FIL's house
@Dad_Roman came out to the property before we did any work to it & it was just woods.
@KJQ6945 has come out to shoot, hunt & help me build my front porch.
Helped @baboon with his beloved Devo, he came over with @KJQ6945 & we shot some NFA stuff.
@Jarine88 hooked me up with some brass last time i was in his area.

Lots of good people I've met on here & will be friends with for life.

I have only met one person, many years ago when purchasing a DE in 357 Magnum, I cannot even remember his name it was so long ago. We met at the La Grange Dairy Queen. I do not have anyone on my ignore list, my skin is thick enough to take anyone's BS. Beside's, I find it kinda fun.
Many here know more than I and have done things I would never do. Even though there are times when things get heated in our discussions, I see everyone here as sort of an extended family. Being a family means taking the good and the bad, and if push comes to shove, I think, for the most part, we would all stand shoulder to shoulder to defend our country and way of life.
