Hadn't shot the .243 since spring. Had a 5mph 2clock wind this evening. Thought I'd scratch the itch. Hornady 58g about 4000fps. Steel yote @365yrds. Last I remembered, I needed to hold just a tad high. 10rds.... first 5 over the top. Then I realized it was shooting where I pointed.

Makes me want a Wilson .243 AR10 platform

Decided to brave the heat this last weekend to shoot these. Shot with a stock anderson predator and a decent burris scope. Hit a sweetspot with my reloads and put 10 about a second or two apart in a sub moa group. The other groups were 1 1/4"-ish from the lighter loads. From the bench right at 101 yards. Working with a 62gr Hornady SPBT bullet and tac rifle powder.

Dee what's your setup on that 6mm rifle? Optic, rifle, barrel maker, etc. Also what's the typical barrel life out of a 6mm?
It's a bighorn tl3 action with a bartlien 7 twist barrel finished at 28" sitting in a mdt acc chassis. Running a jewel trigger and a schmidt and bender pmii scope. Not sure what barrel life will be but I suspect somewhere in the 2500-3000rds. Its only running 30gr of varget which pushes the 110's at 2807fps. Here's a pic of the kiddo with it dry firing before she started running it.

Mounted a delta point pro to a M&P performance center M2.0 and sighted it in at 10 yards to start.

I was pleased. Now to find a quality leather holster, that is the hard part.

Excellent form, left hand supporting butt and good cheek weld. Turn her loose at 500 yds and smile real big.

How do you like the mdt acc? I was going to buy one but got a really good deal on an xlr envy pro with all the extras. Ive been running xlr forever just wish theyd move to a thumbwheel adjuster on the butt stock.

I'm somewhere on the fence about it. I've always been a traditional type vertical grip stock fan. This thing offers tons of adjustments and it's pretty quick at that. The absolute only complaint I have is if the bipod is all the out it hops really bad but I don't have the entire weight system on it like most run. My understanding is the external weight kits mitigate that.
