    Out here by the lake!
You might be shy, depending on what you want. Non Colts are cheaper, as are conversions. Prices are down right now, probably go up as election nears.

Best things about the M-16 most people can work on them themselves & parts are everywhere.

If you went Uzi get a IMI registered receiver not a bolt gun.

I like Thompsons, but M3 grease guns are nice shooters. Reisings are very reasonable, mags being the problem.

H&K MP5 are high be it sear or registered receiver.

Thanks. It's not in the cards right now. I am still lusting.

What's your concerns about it running?

New to me gun that's at least 30 years old and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in 30 years too. Last owner must have dunked the whole thing in motor oil instead of lubing it properly. It crustified and turned into brown sticky goop. Took me several hours with a bronze brush to get most of that crap out of there. Could probably still use a good spraying of Gunscrubber in the nooks and crannies.

I cleaned it up decently and replaced the extractor spring and checked the bolt gap. Hopefully it will just go.

It's Tax stamp Friday. My e filed form 1 for the Zenith Z5 came back in 29 days. It's looking much more "80's action movie" with the A3 stock.
