    Hello Everyone!

As some of you may know, I joined this site with the origins purpose of selling a gun and wound up liking it here. With that said, I’m looking for places in Houston to sell a model 29-3 .44 magnum with little use. I’ve heard different prices for it and wondered what sources people use to value and what places in Houston give the best deals? Thanks in advance

A private sale will get you the best price. Pretty much any shop will give you too little as they're trying to make a profit also.

Exactly. And, several here have already given you an idea of fair market value.

It is very nice, but it is not rare, did not belong to Clint Eastwood, and is not pristine, with box, etc.

There are several smaller shops that will allow you to sell it on consignment for 10-15% of the sale price - which will mean your profit is pretty much the same as you could get on a private sale here on this forum.

It does have the box, the hollow points, manuals etc.

In general you'll get the most for something rare or collectible with an online auction site. To sell an AR, take it to a big local show. For nice items in the middle you'll do fine in places like this.
