I’ve been pleased with my Ruger PC. Totally reliable. Shoots accurately. Takes Glock mags. Easy to clean. Built in receiver rail. Low recoil.

My only minor gripes are the weight and forend/rail. New model is available with a MLOK handguard.

All of the above are true. It's hard to explain but I just didn't like it.

I'm going to take it out for another session and if I still don't, I think I'm selling or trading it.

This is what I ended up buying from my post a long time ago. I find it meh when shooting paper. However put some metal plates up at 60 yards and hearing the ding it became a lot more fun. Move from one to another while swinging. I also put in the 30 round glock magazines to keep it going. However I let it cool down between magazines and shoot my pistol to practice with it.

I have always loved my Ruger Police Carbine (PC9) I've had it for 15 years or so.
They hadn't been made in over a decade and had a niche filled and were hard to find until the new model came out not long ago.

I sort of want a new model for the threaded barrel but my old one, the ghost ring model, is a trusted friend.
I cannot imagine what's not to like about any of them other than just variations in personal preference.
Trade it if you find it meh. Lots of great pistol caliber carbines to choose from, more than ever.
