Here are some pictures of my WW2 bayonets. I have some from all manufacturers. I'd like to see other members bayonets. These are all dated 1943.

    H&K G3 bayonet
Jap bayonet that had its tip broke & reprofiled, I rust browned it & the scabbard in my early teens
I also have a couple of USGI that fit Garands, carbines & M-16
Someone gave me a USMC bayonet for my M-16
Nice. I like all of them. A friend of mine found one in a cave on Guam when he was stationed there. All rusted of course. Still neat.

Well, I have my backscratcher...a WWII Nazi bayonet my great aunt sent home from Italy as a war souvenir for my granddad (she was a senior officer's secretary, he was nearsighted and had a family so they wouldn't let him volunteer). Unfortunately, at some point he had someone try to put an edge on it to use it as a hunting knife - because in the mid 40s nobody could've conceived that Nazi equipment would be considered worthwhile and historically significant. Still, it's an amazing piece of craftmanship (for a piece of actual, tangible evil, that is).

I'll try to get some pics of it this weekend. And yes, I do use it as a back scratcher - it amuses me to think that somewhere some Nazi is rolling in his grave when I use it.

    Anything??

    :green:
Sometime if the picture aint readily available the just aint going to happen. I'm pretty pissed off about the replacement batteries for my camera not holding a charge. Here is the current USMC bayonet on my IAR Colt M-16.
