Dang, 3400 yard range. Nice. Curious to know how good the glass is on that one. I have a couple inexpensive ones that the glass ain't great on.

I don’t think the glass is bad but don’t have much to compare with. Hopefully in May I can compare side by side with a few others in the price range.

Mine doesn't go out that far.

So far my best is a little over 2,000 yards on a house. I haven’t come close to the 3600 or whatever they advertise. No luck hitting a water tower around 3100 yards from the house.

Not really surprised though. I’m sure they ranged a mirror the size of a barn under best possible conditions to get their advertising number.

My Vortex goes out to 1300, but then until I got my 22-250 I didn't have anything that has a chance to go further.

I'm interested in something like that. My alleged 800 yd rangefinder (Bushnell) would not range critters in WY last fall that I felt were under 800 yds away. I want to get one that will range to 2K yds.

I’ll try to look for opportunities to check it’s range on animals. It’s surprisingly hard to find targets at the ranges I want.

Also a lot harder to find open lines of site for more than 800-1000 yards in general. But there is some grazing land around the area and I can probably find some cows to range within the next few days. A little bigger than deer but should give an idea. Need to rig up a tripod mount and see if it makes any difference too.
