I’ve never been a knife guy...but I do carry this one daily

TSA hasn’t stolen it (yet), been flying with it for a few years now.

OTF blades always look anorexic compared to the housing.

Any of you OTF guys ever had a negligent opening in yer pocket?

(don't want me member flopping off to the floor.......)

I've never carried an OTF but I've had various automatic knives open while clipped to the top of my pocket more times than I can remember. For that reason alone, I've never contemplated an OTF for daily carry.

Lots of variance in OTF profiles, some are definately better proportioned than others. My favorites in this regard are the Microtech Troodon and Combat Troodon, neither of which feel disproportioned in any way.

Blue one below was with me today...

Not something I've worried about, at least not with the Microtech OTFs.

Have a few different ones currently (Ultratech, UTX-70, Troodon, Combat Troodon), and they all take significant force to open, especially the Combat Troodons which seem to be beyond the ability for many women (and some men) to open without requiring both hands (or at all, in a few instances I've observed).

Often carry a Boker Kalishnakov auto. Never had a misfire. It only opens when I push the button.
