The Liberal Apocalypse CommieFornina invading the Rest of The USA is a scary thought. Someone should propose to Trump to build the wall around CommieFornia.

I recently bought a bucket of White Rice from Sams a few weeks ago. They were on sale for $49 that day and I thought it was a good deal so I picked one up. I was surprised when the cashier asked me what I was prepping for. I responded with "nothing, maybe dinner for the next year or so", and after asking "why" he explained that lots of preppers were buying rice and beans in early January... I didn't know nor care.

After reading through this post now I know why. I guess I "accidentally" prepped for eating rice off and on over the next year or so. Maybe I shouldn't have opened the bucket a few weeks ago if the world is supposed to end. Go figure.

I am prepping for my wife being gone when I want to eat ice cream. I will have had a scotch or two, so I won't be driving. So I just purchased three half gallons of Blue Bell Mooolenium Crunch. I'm good for another week.

I see in the most recent thread here that it's the grid going down.... and they recommend 6 months supply of preps...

The most worrisome prep item for me is water. Worst case scenario, I can go down to the lake and get water but that would be crappy.
Close lake is great. Little Clorox or pool schock shiould can kill the critters and prob as good as what comes out the house faucets. We have 10k gallons int backyard pool but they claim the chlorine stabilizers make it not good to drink. Hard on the liver and kidneys. Not sure how long it would take for it to kill a person who drank it. Tried to just use shock and no tabs last summer but it got all eat up with algae. Mama went nuts over that so now we have tabs again.

Sounds like a good plan. We have a nice oak tree that was the prize our faithful little weenie won in his first and only race a decade or so ago. Those Germans drink beer for breakfast starting as toddlers. Try to stay out of any competition on that. Thanks
