Have a CZ 455 Tacticool with a SWFA 10X somewhere around here and this thread has giving me some inspiration to take it out again.
Never bought any of that quality .22, just mostly plinked with CCI standard velocity suppressed. Might have to order some good stuff.

Actually, I've had pretty good luck with the CCI standard velocity stuff.
0.5 to 0.75 inches at 50 yards out of a couple of my rifles...most notably my SBR suppressed AR15 with a 5" barrel. Huge fun.

I bought a case of 5,000 of the Gemtech subsonic stuff that CCI makes for them that's almost identical, though not exactly.

I bought a case of 5,000 of it and cannot justify high priced target stuff very often!

Eley Club through CMP is 7cpr in a 5000 round case, two case per year limit for individual (not club) purchase.

Its pretty easy to go through 1000 rounds/month, so that’s a 10 month supply.

With copper jacket rounds I seem to get the best groups with CCI HPs at 100 yards with my Savage A22. Some of my other rifles not so much. With lead, Rem Thunderbolts are the way to go. Try as many different types of ammo as you can.

I got excited and played hookie this afternoon to go to the range.

Zero’d the CZ and started working it just to get rounds down the barrel.

There’s a lot to like with the CZ; it’s got a near-full size stock and with optic just feels solid. The interim optic (Bushnell Rimfire 3-9) is doing the job and is a great step up from what was on the 10/22, but it still has has a thicker reticle than I’d like. At 75 yards, the crosshairs will cover a 1/2” aim point. In exchange, it’s got a 22LR specific turret that is advertised to zero at 75, then dial to distance out to 150yds in calibrated markings in the turret. I’ll try that feature out later.

Best group of the day was .87” c-t-c at 75 yds, compared to the best group on the 10/22 of 1.2” @50yds.

That’s not apples to apples but a .4” reduction in group size is nice to see on day 1. Add to it that @75yds, I’m pretty close to the factory test target of .748” @50yds.

Obviously I’ve got room to improve my precision skills, but I’m confident this rifle will be a better tool for the journey than the 10/22.

I'll presume that any buyers remorse you might have had is now history.
All the near~1 MOA accuracy should relegate it to distant memory.

If there is a place for external target turrets it's on a 22lr rifle owned by a guy who will get to know it really really well.
Trajectory for CCI Quiet or Eley target or bulk Bucket-o-Bullet ammo varies enormously.
Working up a dope card to be taped to the stock will be a delight.

Have you had the rifle out again? I spent a bit of time at tx city municipal range (in the wind) on friday while dialing in a zero and verifying elevations on my old savage FVSR in preparation for the NRL22 course of fire this Sunday. Results were decent with CCI SV, so I shot it in the match since that’s the only confirmed data I had on hand, but the rifle prefers SK Standard+. Come shoot the March COF with me in Rosenberg!

Tomorrow night is my next foray. I appreciate the invite to NRL22, I’ve just got a ton of irons in the fire right now.

Might be able to make something happen in May.

Two loads @ 50/75/100. Not happy with the MOA adj up from zero. Down went great, back to Zero great. Up? Good thing this is an interim optic.

Overall impressions. Barrel seems to be tightening up. Trigger is still. Crunchy and heavy.
