I swear that's the same green they put on the mid 70's Dart.

I used to do the paint and body work for a Mustang restoration place. The first time I did one in dark jade (I think) I remember thinking it was ugly when I mixed the color. Still ugly when I sprayed it to cut it parts, but as soon as I hit it with clear I changed my opinion. It was beautiful!

I've always thought the Polaris Slingshot was one fugly vehicle. Since people can't leave $hit alone. I've changed my mind.

Check out the quad kit for it.

You'd have to register it in WY or MT or some other place that isn't as draconian as our DMV.

    It's still fugly

Training wheels for people who want a motorcycle, but can’t bring themselves to buy one.
Nah, it's a not a motorcycle; it's a minimalist car. It having three wheels instead of four is just a hack around regulations.

Had the chance to visit a storage facility in Dallas where wealthy people from around the world store their cars. Place is like a museum.

First Bel Air off the production line

It may be a Bel Air but it's trimmed more like a 210: quarter panel-only chrome, no Bel Air script on that side chrome, baby-sized hub caps. I'd take it!

    Totally low-key.
Letting you uncover cars and shoot pictures in there is not low-key. If I owned one of those cars, I'd be livid. People put their cars in places like that to keep them safe and hidden away. Those are the kinds of cars that the owners only want them seen in circumstances the owner entirely controls.

Whoever let you take those shots may be in for a change of employment.

Or maybe their attitude is completely different and I'm FOS with my conjecture. I really hope that's the case.

Most of those facilities include proper care and maintenance as part of the cost. They'll periodically uncover, wash, wax, clean the interior, treat the tires, do a thorough mechanical check, regrease all the zerk fittings, flush and change fluids as needed, add fresh rust and corrosion preventative and cycle through the whole system, etc. Long list of items to ensure the cars aren't just stored, but they're kept in as-new condition.

The website has a surprisingly long list of services they provide, including things like transportation to and from the airport if you want to use your car while you're in town, meeting facilities, etc.

Some people just live in a different world than I'll ever experience.
