If someone is planning to make this into an SBR, BE AWARE, the dimensions of the rear of the receiver are off just enough for you not to be able to put on a regular mp5 stock. Same goes for the stock on the rifle version. Its off just enough to not fit a 9mm mp5. They don't want you to be able to buy a $350 gun and get a $250-500 stock for free. The $10 handguard is interchangeable though. Cheers.

GT Distributors (Pflugerville) currently has 6-7 LEO trade in Kansas Department of Corrections blued Mini 14 GB’s with the factory bayonet lug and flash hides for $649. They are in black plastic Choate or Hogue stocks. No mag. Been needing one to fill a whole in the collection, and the GB prices have been dumb.

Edit: they are 185 prefix for those that like to date them.

GT Distributors (Pflugerville) currently has 6-7 LEO trade in Kansas Department of Corrections blued Mini 14 GB’s with the factory bayonet lug and flash hides for $649. They are in black plastic Choate or Hogue stocks. No mag. Been needing one to fill a whole in the collection, and the GB prices have been dumb.

Might as well get one when you have a chance before they sell. $649 is a great price compared to $1000.


Just remember to use factory mags and avoid ProMag.
